Responsible Gambling
At Ransjitu, responsible gambling is not a disclaimer — it is a core part of how we operate. We provide Malaysian players with the information, tools, and resources needed to keep gambling a form of entertainment rather than a source of harm.
Strict Age Requirement
Ransjitu is available to adults aged 21 and above only. Age verification is mandatory for all accounts. Any player found to be underage will have their account closed and all funds returned.
If you are under 21, please do not attempt to register or access this platform.
Gambling Should Always Be Entertainment
For the vast majority of players across Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Penang, and across Malaysia, placing a bet on an EPL fixture or joining a live Baccarat table is a recreational activity — the same way someone might buy a cinema ticket or a round of golf. It has a defined cost, it provides entertainment, and it ends when the session ends.
Responsible gambling means keeping it that way. It means setting a budget before you open the app, not chasing a losing session with a larger deposit, and stepping away when the enjoyment stops. Ransjitu's platform is designed to support those healthy habits — not undermine them.
The tools on this page are not just regulatory boxes to tick. They are built into the Ransjitu platform because we believe that a player who stays in control long-term is more valuable — to themselves, their families, and to our platform — than one who exhausts themselves chasing losses.
If at any point gambling stops feeling like entertainment and starts feeling like a financial obligation or an emotional need, that is the signal to pause and use the resources below.
Gambling IS
- Entertainment and recreation
- A budget-defined activity
- A choice, not a compulsion
- Fun when you can afford it
Gambling Is NOT
- A source of income
- A way to recover losses
- A solution to debt
- Something to hide from family
Gambling involves financial risk. There is no guaranteed winning strategy. Never bet more than you can comfortably afford to lose.
Your Responsible Gambling Toolkit
Every Ransjitu account comes with a full suite of responsible gambling controls — accessible at any time from your account settings panel. No hidden menus, no extra steps.
Deposit Limits
Set a maximum deposit amount per day, week, or month. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Reducing your limit takes effect immediately; increasing it requires a 24-hour cooling-off period before the new limit activates.
Loss Limits
Define the maximum net loss you are comfortable with over a set period. When your loss threshold is reached, your account is automatically locked from further betting until the period ends. This prevents a bad session from becoming a financial crisis.
Session Time Limits
Set a maximum time per gambling session. When your session limit is reached, the Platform will prompt you to stop and log out. You can also configure session reminders to display at intervals — such as every 30 minutes — to maintain awareness of elapsed time.
Cool-Off Periods
Take a short break without permanently closing your account. Choose a cool-off period of 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days. During this period, you cannot deposit or bet, and all marketing communications are paused. Accounts reactivate automatically at the end of the chosen period.
Self-Exclusion
If you feel you need a longer or permanent break, you can request full self-exclusion. Exclusion periods of 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanent are available. During self-exclusion, your account is deactivated, marketing is blocked, and re-registration is prevented. To request self-exclusion, contact support at [email protected].
Reality Checks
Enable pop-up notifications at regular intervals during active sessions. Each alert shows your net win or loss for the current session and the total time elapsed. This keeps your actual financial position front of mind, helping you make more considered decisions about whether to continue.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
Problem gambling can develop gradually and is often difficult to recognise in yourself. The following patterns are common indicators that gambling may have moved beyond healthy entertainment. If you recognise three or more of these in your own behaviour, we strongly encourage you to use our self-exclusion tool or contact a support helpline.
Spending more money or time on gambling than you originally planned, consistently and repeatedly.
Chasing losses — returning to gamble with the intention of winning back money you have already lost.
Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when you try to reduce or stop gambling.
Hiding your gambling activity from family members, friends, or colleagues in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, or wherever you live.
Gambling with money intended for essential expenses — rent, groceries, school fees, or bills.
Borrowing money, selling possessions, or taking out credit to fund gambling activity.
Neglecting work, studies, family responsibilities, or personal health because of the time spent gambling.
Continuing to gamble despite repeatedly promising yourself or others that you would stop.
If Someone You Know Has a Problem
Problem gambling affects not just the individual player, but their family, close friends, and colleagues. If you are concerned about someone else's gambling behaviour, the following guidance may help.
Open a conversation without judgment
Approach the topic calmly and privately. Express concern for the person's wellbeing, not anger about specific losses. Avoid ultimatums in the initial conversation.
Protect shared finances
If you share finances with someone experiencing problem gambling, consider separating accounts and limiting access to joint funds while seeking professional guidance.
Contact a support service
Talian Kasih (15999) provides counselling for both individuals with gambling problems and their family members. Calls are confidential and free. GamCare also provides international support resources online.
Look after your own wellbeing too
Living with or supporting someone with a gambling problem is emotionally demanding. Seek support for yourself — you do not have to manage this alone.
A Quick Self-Check
The questions on the right are adapted from widely-used screening tools. They are not a clinical diagnosis, but they can help you reflect honestly on your relationship with gambling.
If you answer "yes" to three or more questions, we strongly encourage you to make use of one of the self-management tools available in your account, or to reach out to a professional support service.
This questionnaire is for personal reflection only. Your answers are not recorded, stored, or shared with Ransjitu or any third party.
If you answered "yes" to three or more of the above, please consider using the self-exclusion or cool-off tools available in your Ransjitu account, or contact Talian Kasih on 15999 for confidential support.
Support Resources for Malaysian Players
The following organisations provide free, confidential gambling support services. These are independent of Ransjitu — contacting them has no effect on your account status. All contact details are provided as plain text for reference.

Contact Ransjitu Directly to Activate Responsible Gambling Tools
To activate self-exclusion, adjust deposit limits, or discuss any responsible gambling concern, contact our support team at [email protected] or via live chat. We aim to activate all self-exclusion requests within 24 hours of receipt and will confirm activation by email.
Ransjitu's Responsible Gambling Commitments
Beyond providing tools, Ransjitu holds itself to a set of internal standards on responsible gambling. These are not optional — they are built into how we operate the platform and how we manage every player account in Malaysia.
We do not target vulnerable players with bonus offers
Ransjitu's marketing and bonus programmes are designed to reward ongoing recreational play. Players who have activated loss limits, cool-off periods, or responsible gambling flags are automatically excluded from receiving bonus promotions that could incentivise further deposit activity.
We honour all self-exclusion requests without delay
When a player requests self-exclusion, we prioritise that request above all other account activity. Self-exclusion is activated within 24 hours — usually much faster — and confirmed by email. During the exclusion period, the account cannot be reactivated by the player themselves.
We train our support staff on responsible gambling indicators
All Ransjitu customer support team members are trained to identify signs of potential problem gambling in player communications and account activity. When a concern is identified, the team is empowered to proactively offer tools and support information.
We make limits easy to set, and hard to reverse quickly
Deposit and loss limits can be set or reduced at any time with immediate effect. However, increasing a limit or removing a restriction is subject to a mandatory 24-hour waiting period. This asymmetric design means impulsive decisions cannot override considered safety settings.
We work with external responsible gambling organisations
Ransjitu maintains awareness of best practices through ongoing engagement with international responsible gambling standards, including guidance published by organisations such as GamCare. We review and update our responsible gambling tools and policies regularly.
10 Tips for Healthy Gambling Habits
Set your total gambling budget before you start, and treat it like any other entertainment expense — once it is gone, the session is over.
Never chase losses. If you have reached your loss limit for the session, accept it and log out. Chasing is the single most common trigger for escalating gambling harm.
Only gamble with discretionary income — money left over after rent, groceries, bills, transport, and family commitments have already been covered.
Balance gambling with other activities. A healthy lifestyle includes diverse hobbies — football with friends in PJ, weekend trips to Penang Hill, or family dinners in Bangsar.
Never gamble under the influence of alcohol, stress, or when you are emotionally upset. Decision-making suffers significantly in these states.
Take regular breaks during sessions. Step away from the screen every 30–45 minutes, even for just a few minutes. This helps maintain perspective and reduces impulsive betting.
Understand the games you play. Know the house edge on each game type. EPL betting, live Baccarat, and slot games all carry different risk profiles — understanding them helps you make informed choices.
Be honest with yourself. If you notice any of the warning signs listed on this page appearing in your own behaviour, take action before the problem escalates.
Keep gambling and work completely separate. Betting during work hours — even on mobile — erodes concentration, risks your livelihood, and normalises problematic patterns.
Use the tools available to you. Set deposit limits, activate session reminders, and take a cool-off period whenever you feel your relationship with gambling shifting. They are there for a reason.
Stay Informed, Stay in Control
Responsible gambling is a shared commitment — between you and Ransjitu. Use the tools available, know your limits, and reach out to support services whenever you need them. When gambling is kept in its proper place, it can genuinely be enjoyable entertainment.
